He said to use it only in his house where he could get anything, asked from it, but as a chance, Panditji used it in the night during taking shelter in a Haluai&#8217;s house. अपनी पत्नी की सलाह पर वे एक दिन वह कमाने के लिए दूर के स्थान को &#8211; गये। रास्ते में समुद्र देवता ने पण्डित जी को एक जादूई शंख देते कहा कि. इससे वह जो चाहे माँग सकते थे। पर, उन्हें समुद्र देवता ने रास्ते में इस शंख</p>
<p>का प्रयोग करने से मना किया। पर रास्ते में, एक हलवाई के यहाँ रात बिताते समय उन्होंने उस शंख का प्रयोग किया और उनके सोने पर हलवाई दंपति ने वह शंख चुरा लिया । समुद्र देवता ने पण्डित जी को फिर एक शंख दिया। इस शंख को चुराते समय, हलवाई और उसकी पत्नी को खतरनाक कीड़े काटने लगे । डरकर उन्होंने पहले वाला शंख पण्डित जी को दे दिया। पण्डित जी अब दोनों शंख लेकर खुशी-खुशी अपने घर लौटे। फिर तो उन्हें जब जो चाहिए था उस शंख से मिल पाता। उनकी दरिद्रता मिट गई । अब उनका परिवार सानन्द जीवन व्यतीत करने लगा।</p>

<p>अनुवाद एक गाँव में एक पण्डित जी रहते थे। वह बहुत गरीब थे। उनके चार । बच्चे थे। सुबह से शाम तक पण्डितजी घर-घर धूमकर भीख माँगते और उनकी पत्नी अपने पड़ोसियों के कपड़े सीती थी। कठिन परिश्रम के बावजूद वे अपने और बच्चों के लिए बडी मश्किल से दो वक्त का खाना जटा पाते थे। जैसा कि उनका भाग्य था, पण्डित जी चाहे कुछ ही घंटों के लिए भीख माँगते या फिर सारा दिन भीख माँगते उन्हें भीख में बस सवा सेर ही मिल पाता था।</p>
<p>उनकी पत्नी ने एक दिन उनसे कहा. &#8220;आप बाहर जाकर कमाइएगा तभी हमारी स्थिति में सुधार आ पायेगा।&#8221;</p>
<p>पण्डित जी ने बात मानते हुए कहा, &#8220;ठीक है, मैं कल ही जाऊँगा। तुम सिर्फ मुझे रास्ते में खाने के लिए कुछ सामग्री दे देना।&#8221; उसकी पत्नी पड़ोस में जाकर अपने पड़ोसी से कुछ सत्तू और नमक माँगकर ले आयी और पण्डित<br />
जी को दे दी। . अपना सामान समेटकर पण्डित जी कमाने के लिए दूसरी जगह को चल</p>
<p>पड़े । पैदल ही चलते-चलते वे एक समुद्र के पास पहुंच गये । इसके पार कैसे जाऊँगा?&#8217; वह चिन्तामग्न हो सोचने लगे। उनको एक विचार सूझा। अगर मैं समुद्र में ढेला फेंकते जाऊँगा तो समुद्र भर जायेगा ढेलों से तो फिर मैं इसके पार जा सकूँगा। उन्होंने एक-एक करके ढेला फेंकना शुरू कर दिया । जब वे 50-60 ढेला फेंक चुके तो समुद्र देवता अपने हाथ में एक शंख लेकर प्रकट हो गये।</p>

<p>पंडित जी ने हलवाई से बहुत आग्रह किया पर वह हलवाई ने इन्कार कर दिया। तब पण्डित जी ने कहा कि वह उसके खाने की चिन्ता नहीं करे बस सोने की जगह दे दे। इस पर वह हलवाई राजी हो गया। उसी रात पण्डित जी ने वह शंख निकाला और उससे कहा, &#8220;ओ शंख देवता, कृपा करके मुझे खाने के लिए कुछ हलवा-पुड़ी दे दो।&#8221; उस शंख ने तुरंत ही पण्डित जी को खाने के लिए हलुवा-पुड़ी दे दिया। फिर पण्डित जी ने शंख को अपने थैले में रखा और खा-पीकर सो गये। &#8211; हलवाई की पत्नी ने यह सारा दृश्य छुपकर देखा। उसने यह बात अपने _ पति को कह दी। उसने अपने पति से कहा-&#8220;क्यों न हम वह शंख पण्डित ,</p>
<p>जी के थैले से निकाल लें और अपना दूसरा शंख उसके जगह पर रख देते हैं।&#8221; हलवाई सहमत हो गया। उन्होंने ऐसा ही किया।</p>
<p>सुबह जगकर पण्डित जी अपने घर को चले गये। घर जाकर उन्होंने शंख का प्रयोग किया पर कुछ नहीं हुआ। पण्डित जी को गुस्सा आया। वे फिर समुद्र के पास पहुँच उसमें ढेला फेंकने लगे।</p>
<p>&#8220;अब तुमको क्या चाहिए?&#8221; समुद्र देवता प्रकट हो पूछे । पण्डित जी . ने उनने सारी बात बताई । समुद्र देवता ने उन्हें दूसरा शंख दिया और उसी हलवाई के यहाँ रात बिताने की सलाह देते हुए एक योजना समझा दी। जैसा समुद्र देवता ने कहा था पण्डित जी ने वैसा ही किया। इस बार हलवाई-दंपति ने पंडित जी का दिल खोलकर स्वागत किया । यही नहीं, उन्होंने</p>
<p>उनका बदन भी दबाया । जब उन्होंने देखा कि पण्डित जी सो गये हैं, तो उन्होंने &#8211; फिर शंख निकाल लिया एकदम चुपके से । जैसे ही उन्होंने शंख को निकाला कई जहरीले कीड़े उनको काटने लगे। वे दर्द से चिल्लान लगे चीखने लगे।</p>
<p>उसी समय पण्डित जी उठ गये और उन्होंने कहा, &#8220;ये कीड़े तुम्हें तबतक काटते रहेंगे, जब तक कि तुम मुझे मेरा पहले वाला शंख नहीं दे देते । हलवाई दंपति ने फौरन उनको उनका पहला शंख लाकर दे दिया।</p>
<p>पौडत जी खुश हो गये। दोनों शंख लेकर वह अपने घर गये। जैसे समुद्र देवता ने उनको कहा था उन्होंने वैसा ही किया। अपने आँगन को गोबर से लिपवाकर पवित्र कराया। फिर शंख को एक पीढ़ा पर स्थापित कर दिया। फिर उनको जो चाहिए था, वह उसे शंख से माँग लेते । अब पण्डित जी की दरिद्रता भाग गयी थी। तब से पण्डित जी अपने परिवार सहित प्रेम पूर्वक रहने लगे। उनके कष्ट दूर हो गये थे।</p>

<p>4. Verb (वर्ब) क्रिया-वह शब्द जिससे किसी काम के करने या होने का बोध हो, Verb कहलाता है ।<br />
A verb is a word which shows an action, as eat, drink, go, come, read, write, can, could, should, will, shall, etc.</p>
<p>5. Adverb (एडवर्ब) क्रिया विशेषण-Adverb वह शब्द है जो किसी Verb, Adjective और दूसरे adverb की विशेषता बताता है, Adverb कहलाता है।<br />

<p><strong>Adjective</strong></p>
<p>Adjective वह शब्द है जो किसी Noun या Pronoun की विशेषता बताता है।</p>
<p>An adjective is a word that qualifies a noun or pronoun.</p>
<p>जैसे-red, black, good, bad, small, kind, rich, sad, tall, angry, happy, new, old, tall.</p>

<p>इन वाक्यों में good, bad, tall और short क्रमश: Ram, Mohan, Bimla और Sita की विशेषता बताते हैं।<br />

कैसी इसी तरह नीचे के वायों को देखें</p>
<p>The pen is red. The cow is black. red शब्द बताता है कि pen कैसी हैं अर्थात red लाल है । इसी तरह black शब्द cow की विशेषता बतलाता है कि वह अर्थात गाय black काली है।</p>

<p><strong>Verb</strong></p>
<p>जिस शब्द से किसी काम के करने, होने दशा या स्वामित्व का बोध हो Verb कहलाता है।<br />
A Verb is a word that shows an action, state or possession. नीचे लिखे वाक्यों को देखें :</p>

<p>ऊपर के वाक्यों में play और read क्रमशः खेलने और पढ़ने की क्रिया (काम) का बोध कराते हैं । तीसरे वाक्य में दिए is शब्द से किसी की स्थिति या दशा का बोध होता है । चौथे वाक्य में have. शब्द car पर किसी का स्वामित्व अधिकार दिखलाता है ।</p>
<p>अत: play, read, is और have verb (क्रिया) हैं।<br />
प्रयोग के आधार पर Verb के दो भद है</p>

<li>Auxiliary Verb (एम्ल री वर्ष) सहायक क्रिया</li>

<p>1. Principal Verb-जो क्रिया वाम्य में मुख्य काम करती है वह Principal Verb या Main Verb कहलाती है ।</p>

<p>am, is, are, was, were, do, does, did, have, has, had, can, could, may-might, will, would, ought, shall, should, must, need, dare, used, to</p>
<p>एक ही verb किसी वाक्य में Main verb तो दूसरे वाक्य में Helping verb</p>

<p><strong>Transitive Verb &amp; Intransitive Verb</strong></p>
<p>Object (कर्म) के आधार पर Verb को दो भागों में बाँट सकते हैं :</p>
<p>1. Transitive (ट्रांजीटिव) सकर्मक-जिस Verb के साथ object (कर्म) का प्रयोग हो, उसे Transitive Verb कहते हैं ।</p>
<p>The verb used with an object is called a Transitive Verb. इन वाक्यों को देखें</p>

<li>We eat mangoes.</li>
<li>Ram loves sita.</li>
<li>He calls me.</li>

<p>ऊपर के वाक्यों में a book, mangoes, Sita, me, a song और pen object (कर्म) हैं अतः इनके पहले आये verbs क्रमश: read, eat, loves, calls, sings it want transitive verbs</p>
<p>2. Intransitive Verb-जिस Verb के साथ object (कर्म) का प्रयोग नहीं हुआ हो, उस verb को Intransitive Verb कहते हैं ।</p>
<p>The verb used without an object is called an Intransitive verb.</p>

<p><strong>Adverb</strong></p>
<p>Adverb वह शब्द है जो किसी Verb, adjective या दूसरे adverb की विशेषता बताता है। An adverb is a word which qualifies a verb, an adjective or another adverb.<br />
नीचे लिखे वाक्यों को देखें:</p>

<li>She comes slowly. (वह धीरे-धीरे आती है)</li>
<li>He runs fast. (वह बहुत तेजी से दौड़ता है)</li>
<li>You are very good. (आप बहुत अच्छे हैं ।</li>

<p>ध्यान दें कि Adverb यह बलाता है कि verb कैसे होता है । प्रथम वाक्य में &#8216;slowly&#8217; शब्द यह बताता है कि verb अर्थात आने की क्रिया कैसे होती है । अत: slowly adverb है । दूसरे. वाक्य में &#8216;very&#8217; का प्रयोग adverb fast (तेजी से) की विशेषता बताता है । अत: इसमें &#8216;very&#8217; adverb है। तीसरे वाक्य में &#8216;good&#8217; adjective है । इसमें &#8216;very goodness अच्छाई को बढ़ाता है अर्थात विशेषता बताता है । अतः यह adverb है ।</p>

<p><strong>Preposition</strong></p>
<p>वह शब्द जो Noun या Pronoun के पहले आकर उसका सम्बन्ध वाक्य में दूसरे शब्द के साथ बताता है, Preposition कहलाता है।</p>
<p>A preposition is a word placed usually before noun or a pronoun to show its relation with some other word in the sentence.</p>

<p>The book is on the table.<br />
He is in the room.</p>
<p>पहले वाक्य में on शब्द table के पहले आकर book से उसका सम्बन्ध बताता है। इसी तरह दूसरे वाक्य में &#8216;in&#8217; शब्द &#8216;room&#8217; के पहले आकर उसका सम्बन्ध he (pronoun) से बताता है । अत: on और in Preposition है</p>

<p>Tense is the form of a verb that denotes time of action.</p>
<p>Tense के तीन भेद हैं</p>

<li>Present Tense. प्रजेन्ट टेन्स वर्तमानकाल</li>
<li>Past Tense पास्ट टेन्स भूतकाल</li>
<li>Future Tense फ्यूचर टेन्स भविष्यत काल</li>

<p>1. Present Tense (वर्तमानकाल) Present Tense से वर्तमान समय में होने वाली क्रिया का बोध होता है । जैसे- I read. He plays.</p>
<p>2. Past Tense (भूतकाल) Past Tense से बीते हुए समय में होने वाली क्रिया का बोध होता है । He did it. He went home.</p>
<p>3. Future Tense (भविष्यत काल) Future Tense से आने वाले समय में होने वाली क्रिया का बोध होता है । I shall go. He will come.</p>
<p>प्रत्येक Tense के चार भेद हैं-</p>

<p>इसी तरह Past Tense और Future Tense के भी चार-चार भेद हैं। इन्हें Present के स्थान पर Past या Future शब्द रख देने से उस Tense &#8211; के भेद हो जायेंगे।</p>
<p>इस तरह तीनों Tense के कुल 12 भेद हैं ।</p>
<p>1. Present Indefinite (प्रजेन्ट इन्डंफिनिट) सामान्य वर्तमान-इस Tense से ऐसे कार्य का बोध होता है जो वर्तमान समय में सामान्य रूप से होता है।</p>

<li>जैसे- लड़के खेलते हैं &#8211; Boys play.</li>
<li>कुत्ता भौंकता है &#8211; The dog barks.</li>
<li>हमलोग स्कूल जाते हैं &#8211; We go to school.</li>
<li>वे लोग रोज टहलते हैं &#8211; They walk daily.</li>
</ol>
<p>वाक्य की वनावट<br />
सामान्यत: sub+ verb अपने मूल रूप में किन्तु जब subject Third person singular number में रहे तो verb (क्रिया) के साथ s/es जुड़ जाता है- sub + verb.</p>

He goes.</p>

<p>इस Tense से verb (क्रिया) के जारी रहने का बोध होता है ।</p>

<li>हमलोग खेल रहे हैं। &#8211; We are playing.</li>
<li>आप आ रहे हैं। &#8211; You are coming.</li>
<li>वह रो रहा है। &#8211; He is weeping.</li>

<p>ऊपर के वाक्यों में am reading, are playing, are coming और is weeping Present Continuous Tense में हैं।</p>
<p>इस Tense के वाक्यों की बनावट इस प्रकार होती है S + am/is/are+v+ ing</p>

<p>इन वाक्यों में have read, have eaten और has gone Present Perfect Tense में है।</p>
<p>इस Tense के वाक्यों की बनावट इस प्रकार होती है..</p>
<p>Sub + have / has + V<sup>3</sup></p>

<p>इस Tense में been का प्रयोग होता है जो have/has के तुरंत बाद लगता है ।</p>

<p>-इस Tense से यह पता चलता है कि Verb (क्रिया) समाप्त हो गई है। जैसे</p>

<li>हवा बह रही थी। &#8211; Wind was blowing.</li>

<p>इन वाक्यों में was reading, were going, were eating, was raining और was blowing Past Continuous Tense में हैं । इस Tense के वाक्यों की बनावट इस प्रकार है</p>
<p>Subject + was / were + v + ing</p>

<p>इस Tense से पता चलता है कि कोई काम पहले ही समाप्त हो चुका था । जैसे</p>

<li>वह सो चुकी थी &#8211; She had slept.</li>

<p>Note : इस Tense में जब दो क्रियाएँ एक दूसरे के पहले या बाद में होती है तो जो क्रिया पहले होती है वह Past Perfect Tense में होती है और बाद वाली क्रिया Past Indefinite में होती है ।</p>
<p>मेरे आने के पहले श्याम जा चुका था ।</p>
<p>इस वाक्य में श्याम के जाने का काम पहले हुआ और मेरे आने की क्रिया बाद में ।</p>

लड़के चार घंटे से खेल रहे थे Boys had been playing for four hours.<br />
ऊपर के वाक्यों में had been reading, had been crying.</p>
<p>had been raining it had been playing Past Perfect Continuous Tense में हैं।</p>
